I’m constantly being told i have a beautiful face. and i should model. but i would NOT make a good body type model. I’m told i have striking features and a great jaw line and such but i can’t walk a runway! any ideas?

5′4 and plus size is not a good combination. Plus size models nowadays are more like full figure models… which in turn are more like what most women look like realistically. If you look at a plus size magazine, they are probably a size 12, and over six feet tall.

Being short and fat is the worst combo. I suggest you lose weight.

In order to be a plus size model you still need to be tall and in proportion so you can rule that out. in order to be a glamour model you can be short but you need a good body and not a plus size. My advice would be to pick another thing to do, mother nature did not deal you the correct raw materials to be a model (just like 99.9% of people).

There is no such thing as a plus size petite model in the industry. There are petite and commercial print models but they need to have measurements of 36-26-36 or smaller and there are plus size models who have measurements of 40-30-40 or larger but also have to be at least 5′8"
Why not start a diet and exercise program and lose the weight in a healthy way if you want to do commercial print work
