Plus Size Clothing?
Date: Monday, February 8th, 2010 at 7:44 am
Besides Lan Bryant, what are other stores where they sell trendy plus size clothing?
Torrid is the best IMO. They have fashionable items and their sizes start at 0, not 14/16. Avenue is another plus sized store, but recently their clothes have started taking a matronly approach. There are some great mail order cataloges also, chadwicks, jessica london and some ebay stores that carry junior plus clothes. I will list the links below. Hope that helps.

Catherine’s is a little more trendy, but more expensive.

I prefer Lane Bryant. Their quality and price is better and the clothes are trendier. The Avenue price and quality sucks.

Your best bet for trendy clothes it Torrid, it is like Hot Topic for Jr. size. You can also try, Fashion Bug and Avenue. Depending on your age Catherine’s may be to old style for you. I always have luck at Macy’s, they carry Baby Phat, Apple Bottom, their I.N.C. dept. is great and Eyeshadow brand which is very trendy and inexpensive. I also have great luck at Ross and sometimes Old Navy. If you are a online shopper check out SizeAppeal.com great stuff. Hope that helps and Happy Shopping!!

well if you live in california, there is this place called Tempist Pluss, its the only one there is no chain of this store, but they have all of the stuff that small people wear in bigger sizes up to 5x at great prices, and they have sale racks all the time! or there is a place called Katherins plus sizes, they have some of those stores in alot of places, but they are a little pricey like lane bryants. um avon sell plus sizes in what they carry now check that out too. i am not sure of any other places other than Ross’s sells lots of pluss sizes too! good luck! oh ya walmart and supper K mart does too!
