Evening wear for Pregnancy?
I will be 20 weeks pregnant by Christmas and am going on a mini cruise and need some nice evening dresses. Can I find one anywhere?? ‘Next’ is the only place I’ve been able to find one but I need another one and preferably not over £100. I’m usually a size 10/12 so may get away with a plus size but I would like proper maternity dress. Anyone got any suggestions?
I was 18 months when I went to a military ball and I could NOT find any dress, the money was an issue, I just wanted a dress and I could just NOT find one so what I ended up doing a day before the Ball is, I went to the Motherhood store, and looked for a 2 piece dress, so I found this very nice and Elegant spaghetti strap blouse, it was black with some diamond like stones in the front, you could wear the blouse with or without straps, and I also found a long skirt, it was black and the material was very nice and elegant it was all plain black and it has a nice opening on the right side of the leg, very beautiful and comfortable, then I got me a nice pair of high hills all straps, don’t get your shoes with very high hills! believe me!! I was in pain after 2 hours! You might want to take another pair of shoes with you on the side so you feel comfortable, and of course do your hair very nicely. So if you cannot find a dress look for other alternatives.

Try Mimi maternity or Pea in the pod if you have them in your area. Or try maternitymall.com

Get a long black maxi with white going across the breasts and arms, they look great on pregnant women. My wife looked killer on our cruise in that dress on our cruise when she was pregnant.

ebay.uk ! Pea in the Pod has lovely clothes, but they can be rather pricey. You can also just google "formal maternity wear" and see what comes up.
Also, depending on how big your belly is……you might be able to get away with a regular formal! Look for something with a loose waist, flowy skirt……..good luck!
Have fun!

A fantastic sight you must visit is itsallaboutbabies I don’t know what area you live in but this shop does free delivery to any address in the uk. When you speak to the owner and staff on the phone they are all really helpful and kind. Photos have been taken by them and are currently being updated onto the system but not showing yet, they have evening dresses which are strappy and have diamantes on the front, they are expensive to buy, £225+ but you can hire them and there price I though is fantastic £65 to hire with returnable deposit of £50. have a look on the sight they do some lovely long skirts and strappy tops too. Hope this helps,I should be on commission.
Good luckxx
