Hi, I’m a size 22 in jeans. (yes, I am over weight. You don’t need to rub it in my face).

i am big and i wear skinny jeans but they dont look so bad if u wear them not so form fitting if u like the way flared legs fit.

Therefore, I’ve got a few questions for you!
1. What kind of clothes would you like to wear? (Tell me upto 5)
2. What brand of clothes would you like to have in your size?
3. What is the best price range for you?
(Would you like a store like H&M/ Forever 21? or something like Barney’s which carries most of designer clothes such as Marc Jacobs)

I agree with the last answer…high end is always cool! I also like the idea of Forever21 or something similar..there are only a few stores that cater to the plus-size trendy girl that are easily accessible. For location, that’s easy, make sure it’s online! There’s such a need and want for this type of clothing that if you don’t get it online, you’re severely hampering your potential profits! Besides, this helps cut down your overhead if you can run the business from your house and yet still have broad audience. In doing this though you have to remember that advertising is key. No advertising and no building means you’re working on word of mouth and good word of mouth advertising isn’t easy. Since this is a school project, you can add some of the "free advertising" such as joining some curvy girl websites that will help get the word out free! Websites like curvychick.com and beautypluspower.com have great shopping databases for the plus size gals.
Most girls I know easily pay $50 to $60 per piece of clothing that they like because finding trendy items in their size is so hard!
